This decaffeinated black tea is made in Kenya using a special technique to remove most of the caffeine from CTC black tea. Kenya is the world's third largest tea producer after China and India, and is located at a high altitude just below the equator, combining a harsh climate with extreme temperature fluctuations and well-drained soil. The country also enjoys abundant rainfall, creating an ideal environment for growing black tea.

This blend has a mild, rich flavor with a clean, fresh aroma. CTC black tea can be steeped thoroughly in a short time, making it ideal for milk tea. This reduced-caffeine black tea is recommended for those who want to brew it to enjoy authentic chai or milk tea. Available in limited quantity.
