Product Best-By Date Terms & Conditions

◆ Best-By Date Disclaimer

LUPICIA Hawaii lists, to the best of its ability, the approaching best-by date for products within 3 months. If a product is purchased and LUPICIA Hawaii incorrectly did not list an approaching date on the store page for a product whose best-by date is within 3 months, or if its best-by date is shorter than the date currently listed, we (LUPICIA Hawaii) will contact you (Customer) with regards to this date before processing the order. 

The customer is responsible for acknowledging the best-by date listed on the product page as well as these terms. By proceeding with a purchase the customer acknowledges that they have viewed and accepted the best-by date of the tea(s) being ordered and waive the right to return, exchange, or be refunded in regards to the best-by date of the tea(s), with the exception of the circumstance where the best-by date for the tea happens to be shorter than the one listed on LUPICIA Hawaii's website, or if the best-by date was short and not listed.

If we do not have enough product of a short-listed date to fulfill an order, we may add product with a later best-by date. This is to be done at our discretion.

If the customer would like to be informed of what the closest best-by dates are for products they are interested in before purchasing, we can be contacted at supportusa@lupicia.co.jp.

◆ Limitation of Liability

LUPICIA Hawaii shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, products that are beyond their best-by date. LUPICIA Hawaii is committed to providing our customers with fresh teas, and will not sell products that have moved beyond their best-by date. All unopened packs of tea are ok for consumption for up to 6 months past their best-by date, albeit with reduced flavor strength and appearance in color. LUPICIA Hawaii is not responsible for unconsumed or unopened packs of tea that exceed their best-by or expiration date.

As stated in our return & exchange policy, we do not accept returns and/or exchanges. All sales are final. If the products you received are confirmed by us to be defective or if you have been sent the wrong items due to our error, we will replace those items at our discretion. We will not process refunds or returns for items mistakenly ordered by the customer in regards to the best-by dates listed on our product pages.
