WENSHAN POUCHONG SPRING 2023 has a clean and fresh floral scent with a gently spreading sweet taste that continues in the smooth finish. Served hot or chilled, the light body and lingering aroma of flowers are a refreshing reminder of spring. This is a traditional oolong tea made in Pinglin township in northern Taiwan, one of the oldest tea-producing regions in Taiwan. It is lightly fermented at around 15%, lightly twisted into an elongated shape.  Using only leaves harvested from young tea plants, there is an excellent balance of color, aroma, and sweetness. Available in limited quantity.  (Only available in 20g loose leaf packages) 

One of the oldest tea producing areas in Taiwan, the Pinglin District is in the northern part of Taiwan. A manufacturing method for Pouchong oolong introduced and honed since 1881 brings out the natural flower-like notes from the tea leaves themselves, without adding actual flowers. One of the most well-known teas from Taiwan.
