Supervisor -Mitsuwa Marketplace -San Jose

This position exists to create an extraordinary environment for our customers and the Lupicia employees.
You will be a hands-on, working supervisor with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
- Be a team player and serves as a skilled customer service representative with hospitality and
be a role model for others.
- Create and promote a friendly, professional environment with customers and staff.
- Maximize profit in accordance with all company goals, policies, procedures, and so forth.
- Ensure the store maintains excellent visual presentation/atmosphere at all times,
make adjustments in accordance with customer's movements within the store.
- Ensure proper and accurate inventory control and order appropriate amount of products.
- Ability to understand priorities and the sense of urgency of the business,
adjusting directions and scheduling to meet the demands of the business.
- Coaches, schedules, and performs day-to-day supervision of Lupicia sales associates and
manages the performance of the sales team.
Job Requirements:
- Availability to work 5 days a week, including evenings and weekends.
- More than 1 year of experience in retail. Managerial experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication/writing skills. Proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
- Interest in teas as well as the field of customer service.
- Willingness to take responsibility, and ability to think and act like an entrepreneur.
- Excellent organizational/ analytical skills.
- Ability to train staff effectively.
- Ability to comprehend FDA guidelines and other important documents regarding food regulations, etc.
- Experience in using POS system, Microsoft office software.
* Knowledge about tea is helpful but not a requirement. Training will be provided.
